Picture
I was born in Italy, and have a lifetime of interest in art and engineering. They intersect in my innovative stone art techniques, which create intricate and colorful cast stone sculptures for home or garden. I have also worked with the media of oils and carved acrylic.

Browse this website to see examples of my cast stone sculptures.  Learn how I create my unique art from original hand carved design to finished piece on my blog.  I have examples of my paintings including landscapes, still-life, and portraits.  You can also read my thoughts about painting and how I use color and light. Finally, you can explore my work in architectural precast and learn how those techniques inform my current art.

Snapshots in Progress

On the Artist's Blog pages I show how my cast stone art is created. I show how the design was generated or captured, and usually a series of photos of the work at different stages and processes, for the technically curious. I like to share as much as I can hoping some might find it interesting enough to gain something from it.     ~Mino
